Elder Law is a growing and necessary field of Law. It’s express purpose is to protect Elders from fraud, undue influence, and people who are out to take advantage of people who are weak of mind and/or body.
The field of Elder Law also helps people take advantage of Public Benefit programs such as MediCal, Medicaid, SST and other programs for the disabled and elderly.
Jim Perry helps by identifying the program that a person might qualify for, including getting help with medical needs or Long Term Nursing Care. Because he “knows the ropes” he can help preserve a home and other assets while still qualifying for public programs.
He also prepares and encourages elders to execute Incapacity Documents such as Durable Power of Attorney and Health Care Directives.
